Video for business

It is always great creating video content for new businesses.

We have enjoyed providing content for www.brawn.co.uk . The Brawn inGym connects a gym with its lifters creating strong connections through easy-to-use AI-driven gym floor technology.

It encourages regular in-gym strength training by cleverly monitoring, celebrating and rewarding member participation and progress on the gym floor, creating a sense of belonging that builds loyalty to gyms and increases member retention.

It was great to work with the team at the wonderful https://www.grafthaus.co.uk in Leeds. We were able to use their brilliant facility to film interviews and content with regular exercisers and gym goers. We pride ourselves on being flexible and creating content that can be re-purposed across social media and digital channels. Leeds 2023

It was great to hear about the plans for Leeds 2023, a chance for the city to showcase its culture and people. Local personality Sanchez Payne spoke passionately about the opportunity for the city. ‘Everyone speaks culture but sometimes people don’t have a voice’ – but hopefully Leeds 2023 will give everyone in the city the chance to get involved.

Where are you from?

When we are somewhere else in the country filming corporate videos, we often get asked about Leeds. So here are a few fun facts to those who don’t know the city.

In 1984, during the building of the Armley Gyratory road, the bones of an ancient hippo were discovered. It is believed to date back around 130,000. You can see the remains at Leeds City Museum.

Leeds has given the world a host of literary giants. Alan Bennett is perhaps the most well-known, with ‘Talking Heads’ a cornerstone of British playwriting. Barbara Taylor Bradford sold over 30 million copies of ‘A Woman of Substance’. Tony Harrison wrote poems like ‘V’ and Arthur Ransome penned ‘Swallows and Amazons’ right here in Leeds.

The famous Leeds West Indian Carnival has been running longer than any other in Europe (even longer than Notting Hill Carnival). It started in 1967 and it’s still going strong today. It happens on August bank holiday weekend.

Leeds United were the first club to retail replica shirts. This happened back in 1975 when they bought extra kits to sell to their fans.
The kit was an all white shirt based on the design of Real Madrid.

The first British internet service provider was founded in Leeds. Back then it was called Freeserve. It was bought by a French Telecom firm called Wannadoo for £1.65 billion. Then in 2004, Freeserve was rebranded as Wannadoo UK. Today, it is known as EE’s broadband service.
